Ground Floor
On the ground floor there is a well equipped kitchen which has everything you might need to cook a delicious meal when you are not eating out in one of the many nearby restaurants.
The kitchen opens into a large dining room with a ten seater table. A Victorian style fireplace, with electric fire, helps to contribute to the opulent feeling.
The original kitchen on the ground floor is now a boot room. You can hang your clothes above the Victorian range, and there is plenty of room for ironing clothes, storing hiking gear, golf clubs and even wetsuits and bodyboards.
Ground Floor
The old scullery has now been turned into a fully equipped utility room with a high level tumble dryer and washing machine available for you to use.
There is also a wet room on the ground floor which is great for getting the sand washed off your feet before going up the stairs.
1st Floor
A separate wc, and a bedroom with a king-sized bed and en suite make up the back of the property on this floor.
To the front, there is a large living room with fantastic uninterrupted views over the Atlantic to Donegal. There are comfortable sofas, and velvet chairs where you can settle in and watch the world go by on the Promenade. Even on the stormiest of days, you can take in the stunning views and watch the waves crash on the rocks.
Board games are available for those rainy days and there is also a smart TV.
2nd Floor
The next floor features of a cosy snug with a comfortable sofa and smart TV, making it the perfect space to relax and unwind.
Just four steps up from the snug, there are two king-size en suite bedrooms. One overlooks the uninterrupted sea views and the other is at the rear of the house.
You will also discover the shared library shelves. Feel free to take a book and leave a book for others to enjoy.
3rd Floor
Onthe top floor, there are two more bedrooms with a shared shower room. The bedroom at the back has two single beds, and at the front there is a bedroom with a king-size bed and incredible views .
All rooms also feature USB charging points and blackout blinds.
Parking
At the rear of the property, there is a secure garage for one car.
There is free on street parking at the rear of the property on Church Street, and there is also a large public car park with 99 spaces on Convention Avenue which you pay for, but it is free on a Sunday.
On-Street parking is available on the Promenade, but there is a one hour limit between the hours of 9am-5pm.

When you arrive, you will find some refreshments available, such as tea, coffee, crisps, and milk.
At the time of booking, please let us know if you want the welcome basket to include items that are:

There is also a personalised dog tag for your pooch and a beautifully personalised tote bag for you to keep.
Children
Due to the number of stairs in the property and steps at the rear of the property, it may not be suitable for young children. However, if you do bring young children, then it will be at the parents/guardians own discretion and they will need supervision at all times.
**Please note - there are no stair gates in the property.
When you are booking, please let us know if you need any of the following:

Dog Friendly
Portstewart and the North Coast have some great beaches and walks for you and your dogs, but they must be kept on leads. Mount Oriel welcomes well behaved pets into the property. We do not have a garden, but we do have an enclosed concrete backyard.
We do not want your pet to feel stressed, so please do not leave them alone in Mount Oriel. Details of dog sitters/walkers can be found online and in the information pack. Dog Friendly cafes, bars and restaurants can be found online and there are further details also provided in the information pack.
We do not have stair gates in the property, and dogs should not be allowed on the furniture or beds.
Please bring your own dog’s food bowls, toys, bed, blanket/throws and dog crate with you if you use one.
